Lancashire craft and design expert Dawn Bibby has presented a cheque to The Christie for nearly £6,000 after three years of brilliant fundraising.
Dawn, a regular presenter on craft shows on QVC, has held a series of events at her design shop in Oswaldtwistle Mill and her new design studio in Market Street, Church.
The money was raised at demonstration weekends where visitors designed their own greetings cards. She also held tombolas, raffles and sold hand made cards.
Dawn recently presented her donation of £5,773 to the East Lancs Christie Crusaders fundraising team. Chairman Margaret Massey said: “East Lancs Christie Crusaders would like to say a big thank you to Dawn, her staff and customers for this magnificent donation for The Christie. We’re sure it will be put to very good use.”
