£5k raised for manchester million appeal

Twenty five runners from Robert McBride, Christie Hospital and David Roberts Physiotherapy have raised a fantastic £5,000 from sponsors after completing the Great Manchester Run.
The much needed funds will go the Manchester Million appeal which is to raise £1 million for research into prostate and other men’s cancers research at the urology department at the Christie Hospital.
Manchester Million appeal director, Bernard Edmunds, said: “This was a fantastic effort from all who took part and next year we hope to double the number of runners. It’s a brilliant injection of cash for the Manchester Million appeal.”
