THE CROWN GIVES CHRISTIE'S THE ROYAL TREATMENT

The Crown has been a long-time supporter of The Christie and has raised thousands during the last few years. When new landlord Mick Ashworth took over, he decided he wanted to keep up the tradition.
He said: "The regulars really get behind charity events and I thought it was important to keep things going. I threw a charity night almost as soon as I took over. Hopefully this will be the first if many, and I'd like to say a big thank you to all those involved."
