THREE RIVERS MONEY KEEPS ON FLOWING
Residents and visitors at Three Rivers Caravan Park present a cheque to Christie representative Carl Sharpe
Mobile home owners in Clitheroe have wheeled in more than £8,000 for The Christie after another bumper year of fundraising activities at the Three Rivers Woodland Park.
The fundraisers celebrated the fabulous total with a Halloween party, which was attended by BBC North West tonight presenter Peter Holland and his Radio Lancashire colleague Alison Brown.
The money has been raised by a variety of events including weekly football cards, musical evenings, raffles, barbeques, auctions and bingo every Saturday.

The impressive sum, which includes a wonderful donation of £2,600 from park owner Harold Cowburn, will be donated to The Christie's Young Oncology Unit which treats teenagers and young adults with cancer.
Most of the fundraising is lead by resident Beryl Statham who spends her week at her home in Milnrow in Rochdale and her weekends at the residential park - the majority of her time there taken up with running a small charity shop!
This year's donation of £8,462 takes the Three Rivers' fundraising total to more than £39,000 and Beryl is now hopeful of smashing her £50,000 landmark within the next twelve months.
She said: "This time next year we hope to be throwing a massive celebration bash. It will be wonderful to reach such a huge landmark sum. We're thrilled to handover the latest donation though - it marks another year of wonderful generosity from all our supporters."
