Leaving a gift in your will
One of the most natural human wishes is to do something to make sure that those we leave behind are well taken care of. That's our legacy. That's why we make our will. We know that, whatever its value is, it will make a difference to a family or friends or even a favourite charity.
Your lasting gift that can change lives
A gift that can touch millions
Much of The Christie's international reputation for excellence has been built on gifts in wills. These gestures are often a 'thank you' for the care and support people have received from us, but your family need not have been touched by cancer for you to give a gift that will touch countless others.
A gift in your will - however large or small - will help us continue working towards a time where future generations can live without the shadow of cancer. Every penny helps us buy people more time, through funding research, specialist equipment and long-term projects.
The biggest challenge we face is that every success we achieve along this journey increases our need for funding. Some of our advances simply would not have been possible without the generosity of people like you.
Help us in the fight towards a future without cancer
Leaving a gift to The Christie is simple and inexpensive. A solicitor will be able to draft a will or make amendments to an existing one in accordance with your wishes. There are also tax advantages to leaving a gift in your will, as all donations to charity are tax free, reducing or even avoiding Inheritance Tax liability.
