No, we will help you to organise and plan your event to make
it a real success. We don't need experience - just plenty of enthusiasm
and dedication. The Appeals Team have three Regional Officers
who are there to help you every step of the way, wherever you live
in the North West. If you have the determination and the ideas,
then together we can make it work. However, if you'd like to
see how it's done first, before venturing out on your own, then
why not join one of our local fundraising groups?
Do you have a shop where I can donate my unwanted
clothes, bric-a-brac and books?
No, we don't have a charity shop at Christie's but if you would like
to donate unwanted items such as clothes, books and bric-a-brac we
suggest you contact Cancer Research UK. Look for a list of shop
addresses in the phone book. The Cancer Research Campaign help
to fund the work of the Paterson Institute, our research laboratories,
so by sending your items there, you are also helping the work of Christie's.
