Can you support the work of The Christie by participating in the UK’s largest half marathon?
Need a place?
- The public ballot for the 2010 BUPA Great North Run is now open! We are asking all applicants to first apply through the normal entry system at www.greatrun.org. The public ballot is due to close on 8th February, make sure that you don't miss out!
- If you are unsuccessful in the ballot, you may wish to consider applying for a charity place in this year's event. The Christie has a limited number of charity places in the 2010 run which are available in return for a pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £400. Demand for these places is expected to be high - if you would like to be considered for a Christie place then please complete the online application form. As a charity we are still required to pay for these places and you will be asked to cover your own registration fee.

- If you have been successful in securing your own place via the official ballot and would like to support The Christie, we would love to hear from you. All our runners will receive a sponsorship pack with free Christie t-shirt, which we hope you will wear on race day as you join our team pounding the streets of Tyneside. Register your details on-line as soon as your place has been confirmed.
The 2009 BUPA Great North Run was once again a huge success – we are hoping that 2010 will be an even bigger success for us and hope you will join our team!
