BUPA Great North Run
Big thanks to all participants of the 2008 BUPA Great North Run who ran in support of Christie’s!
Many runners celebrated their finish at the Christie tent in the charity village but for those of you we didn’t get to meet, please accept our heartfelt thanks and congratulations!
We are hoping that our 2008 team will help us to raise thousands in support of the hospital. Please help us to keep track of this year’s sponsorship total by submitting your sponsorship monies as soon as possible. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Christie’ and sent with your completed sponsor forms to the usual Appeals Office address.

If you are interested in taking part in the 2009 Great North Run you can pre register your interest at www.greatrun.org
Normal entry to the event is conducted via a ballot system which will open in February. Christie’s will also have a number of guaranteed entry (charity) places for next year’s event which will be made available to our supporters in return for a minimum sponsorship pledge of £400. All supporters interested in our guaranteed entry scheme will be asked to apply for a place via the Great Run ballot and we will begin considering applications in the Spring.
