Manchester to Blackpool bike ride The date has been set for this year's prestigious Manchester to Blackpool bike ride. This year's event will take place on Sunday 4th July once again starting from the iconic home of Manchester United, 'Old Trafford' before culminating at the stunning Mirror Ball on the South Promenade in Blackpool.
Last year saw over 2,000 Christie cyclists don their royal blue t-shirts in support of our cause, amongst those were a few famous faces with Michael Le Vell – Coronation Street’s Kevin Webster, and Olympic gold medal winning cycler Paul Manning MBE all cycling for The Christie and we hope to see even more Christie cyclists taking part in 2010.
How to take part!
Need a place - To register for this years event please visit www.bike-events.com, where you will be able to register online, please ensure that when registering that you tick the Christie tick box to indicate that you are taking part for our cause.
Have a place - Once you have secured your place at this years bike ride, don't forget to let us know at The Christie so that we can support your fundraising and let you know about the exciting things taking place on the day!
