Christmas
Giving
Have you reached the point in your life where you already
have most of the things you need and friends and relatives are asking
you for
gift ideas? Why not ask them to make a donation to Christie’s
in lieu of a Christmas present this year! We would be delighted to
receive the donations and would put it to good use in the fight against
cancer.
Donations can be used to fund cancer research, to contribute
to the provision of specialist medical equipment and to provide those
extras
which give the hospital its special, comforting and therapeutic atmosphere
for patients undergoing treatment for all types of cancer.
Or perhaps
you’d like to make a donation to Christie’s
on someone else’s behalf this Christmas? It is a very special
way to celebrate a loved one, and your kind support will benefit our
patients both now, and in the future.
When we receive a Christmas Gift
donation, we will send a personal acknowledgment letter to the gift
donor along with a personalised gift
voucher for the donor to give to the gift recipient.
There are several
ways to make a Christmas Gift donation - you may wish to make a donation
on line, visit the Appeals Office in person,
or send a cheque (made payable to 'The Christie') to the address
below:
Appeals Office
The Christie NHS Trust

Please remember to tell us who your Christmas gift is on behalf
of, and your relationship to them.
Thank you.

Your gift could be worth even
more if you are a tax payer and you complete a Gift Aid declaration and
send it with your cheque. A printable
version of the form is
available here.
We will then claim the basic rate of tax on your donation from the
Inland Revenue - an extra 28p
for every £1 that you give.
Use the Gift
Aid Calculator to find out how much your donation will be worth
to Christie's.
