Make a regular donation via Direct Debit or Standing Order
Regular donations provide us with ongoing income that enables The Christie to plan for future needs. A small amount that you may not miss each month builds up to an impressive sum over a year or so!
You can give a regular gift by Direct Debit or by Standing Order. Please download the appropriate printable form below, and post it to us to start your gift.
Donate through Payroll Giving
If you are employed or receive a works pension you could consider Payroll Giving. With this scheme you choose to give a gift each month or week direct from your pay. As the money comes to us before income tax is deducted, we not only receive your donation but also the basic rate of tax from each gift.
For example if you are a basic rate tax payer and you give a pre-tax pledge of £10.00 per month it costs you only £8.00 but Christie’s receives £10.00 (If you pay tax at the higher rate of 40% the £10.00 per month pre-tax pledge would cost you only £6.00).
This makes Payroll Giving the most tax-efficient means of donating to Christie's.
Your employer should be able to confirm if they registered with one of the Payroll Giving Agencies who administer the scheme.
Increase your donation with Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax-payer we can claim back the tax you have already paid on your donations. The extra income comes straight from the government, so you can increase your donations at no cost to yourself. Tax claimed by the charity
- The charity will reclaim 28p of tax on every £1 you gave up to 5 April 2008.
- The charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 you give on or after 6 April 2008.
- The Government will pay to the charity an additional 3p on every £1 you give between 6 April 2008 and 5 April 2011.
