Bring a pound to work day - 5th November
Thank you so very much for all those companies took part in the Bring A Pound to Work Day earlier this month. The event raised close to £5,000 for Christie's Manchester Million Appeal, which raises funds for Male Cancers, thanks to your support. A very big thank you also goes to Rock Radio who have chosen to support the Manchester Million Appeal by organising fundraising activities such as this - they even arranged for page three ladies to collect the monies rasied from offices, which we reckon helped a great deal! http://www.rockradiomanchester.co.uk/rock_stuff/here_come_the_girls/
TD Waterhouse V Celebrity All Stars for Christie's
Here at Christie's we have been very fortunate to have been chosen by TD Waterhouse staff as one of their chosen charities of the year. Christie's recently benefited from a fantastic celebrity fundraising football match which was supported by the TD staff football team and a number of Hollyoaks, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Shameless stars as well as host Colin Jackson and team captain Ralf Little. The event has now pushed the total raised for Christie's from the partnership to over £10,000 this year and we are extremely delighted to have been chosen again for 2009!
