PRESS RELEASE
3rd November 2000
Show-casing 25 years of success

Manchester and district Jewish Theatre Group are about to reprise the best bits from their top shows of the last 25 years to mark their Silver Jubilee - and to help two key local charities.

Their 'Celebration Showcase' runs at the city's Dancehouse Theatre, Oxford Road, from Monday November 27 to Thursday November 30. Tickets are £10 from 0161 767 9013 or via www.areanet.co.uk/theatre

Monday is Gala Night when, for an extra £8, you can attend their celebration cocktail party afterwards.

The programme will include hit sequences from their Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity, Oliver, Me and My Girl, Oklahoma, Calamity Jane, Annie, Guys and Dolls productions plus - most popular of all - Fiddler on the Roof.

In total about 60 members will be performing, including many group stalwarts and junior members. Rehearsals have been taking place since June and the JTG will share the profits between Langdon College of Further Education and the £25m 'Christie's' appeal.
