RELEASE Gardening experts root for Christie's A TV personality and two top notch gardeners are about to field questions - planted or otherwise - to help swell the £25m 'Christie's' appeal. Granada Reports' popular gardening specialist Jeff Turner will be joined by the chief gardeners of Tatton and Wythenshawe Parks, Sam Youd and John Steadman, for 'Gardeners Question Time' at St Peter's Assembly Rooms, Cecil Road, Hale, on Wednesday October 25 at 1.30 pm. This 'ask the experts' session has been created by Christie's Altrincham and Sale supporters team who are not 'green' at fund raising having contributed over £80,000 so far towards the centenary appeal of Manchester's famous cancer centre.
